Just back from a trip to Belgium and the Netherlands. The Dutch never forget the sacrifices made by those who liberated their country, nor indeed the fate of their pre-war Jewish population. These three Frenchmen were members of 3/4 SAS who died in Operation Amherst, an operation to clear the Nazis from the Netherlands in 1945.
